This year I decided to step up my Christmas present wrapping game.
I’m obsessed with presents that all look uniform and adorable, and the simple and modern look is in this year. I went with brown paper gift wrap (get it here from Target) tied with pretty candy cane twine (get it here). I also love the look of the red holly berries, so I purchased several stems from Michaels and cut off little chunks with wire cutters.
I found the little origami Santa gift tags on Pinterest (of course, right?). There are no written instructions, only pictures, but it was easy to figure out! I purchased 2 12×12 sheets of red scrapbook paper with white polka dots at Michaels. Regardless of which brand of paper you choose, make sure one side of the sheet is white. Cut the paper into squares-the instructions recommend 1 1/2″ squares, but mine were a little over 2″, which I found easier to fold. After I cut out my squares, I sat myself down to watch some baking shows while I folded away. Santa’s head and body are in two separate parts, and once they’re done, you can glue them onto gift tags.
